UMB AG is a leading IT provider. UMB AG has seven locations in Switzerland, 240 employees made up of more than 200 consultants, system, network and solution engineers. The company provides IT consulting, engineering, sourcing and solution designing.

UMB AG has lately adopted syslink Xandria as their SAP monitoring and management solution of choice. Following the successful deployment and satisfaction with the solution so far, the company grew their syslink Xandria now by 30%.

New SAP BO Platform for BSN medical

Today, the syslink SAP Basis Team handed over a new SAP BusinessObjects BI test system to its customer BSN medical. The system is based on the BO version 4.1, DB2 and Linux. Main focus of the several months test phase is on the SAP BO Design Studio 1.4 and the Single Sign-on connection with the already existing SAP BI landscape. Start into production is planned for the first half of 2015.

Flash Disk Migration of SAP BW/BI Production Systems

In less than two weeks time, syslink staff have migrated all productive SAP BW/BI systems of global medical device company BSN medical to flash disks. Thorough testing prior to the migration showed a tremendous performance boots. Flash disks are a major alternative to In-Memory-Technologies especially in the area of Online Analytic Processing when it comes to costs and implementation time. In conjunction with their SAP HANA expertise, syslink is in good shape for speeding up customer’s Analytic Processing in either way.
